The Military Affiliated Women committee is made up of NFBPWC members who have experienced first-hand, the opportunities and challenges for those who wear or have worn the uniform and those brave souls who married into the military.

By advocating for policy changes, offering support networks, and promoting awareness, the committee ensures that the unique contributions and needs of women are recognized and met, fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for all military personnel and their families.

Committee Scope

The NFBPWC Military Affiliated Women (MAW) Committee is dedicated to supporting women in the military and their families by advocating for their unique needs and fostering a sense of community. This committee focuses on addressing issues such as career advancement, health and wellness, and transition assistance, ensuring that military women receive the recognition and resources they deserve. Through various programs and initiatives, the MAW Committee empowers these women to thrive both during and after their military service.
