Entrepreneur & Small Business

Whether your business is still an idea on a napkin or a payroll with your name at the bottom, this committee is where NFBPWC women build. Every stage of the journey has a seat at this table.

Considering an idea  ·  Launching your first venture  ·  Building a growing business  ·  Established and scaling. Programming here is never split into beginner and expert tracks. Every topic serves the woman starting and the woman scaling, in the same room.

Our Storefront to Each Other

Every business below is owned by an NFBPWC member. When you need a service, start here: the professional you hire believes in the same mission you do. Browse by category:

Own a business? Members list free. Add your business to the directory, and it appears in the category pages above for every member and visitor to find.

Business as a Force for Good

Choose Your Goal

We ask every member business to choose one of the seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and let it shape how she does business. Not all seventeen. One. The one your work already touches, whether that is quality education, good health, decent work, climate action, or gender equality, the goal our federation has carried since 1919.

Name your goal in your Directory listing, build it into how you hire, source, price, and give, and tell the story. Seventeen goals, hundreds of member businesses, one federation moving the world one enterprise at a time.

Where Members Do Business With Members

Promote, Buy, Refer

The Marketplace is our members-only community for commerce: post what your business offers, find what you need, and send referrals to women you trust. If a member makes it or sells it, it belongs here.

The Career Closet

Professional attire deserves a second career too. Post the business wear you are parting with, from suits and blazers to shoes and bags, and let another member give it a new boardroom. Post with a photo, size, condition, and price; arrange payment and shipping or local pickup member to member.

Larisa Miller, Chair, NFBPWC Entrepreneur and Small Business Committee
Meet the Chair

Larisa Miller

Larisa Miller is the founder and CEO of Phoenix Global, an international advisory firm working across more than 30 countries. She advises governments, ministries, and Fortune 500 companies on infrastructure, investment, and cross-border development, and spent years in a senior business development role supporting members of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi, advancing international partnerships and sustainability-focused investment.

She holds board and advisory seats across four continents, has delivered more than 120 keynotes in over 25 countries, and founded Wealth Warriors, a global business education platform. She is the co-author of The Rising Role of Women in Family Offices and Family Businesses and The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Impact, Ethics, and Society, with the memoir I Drove My Guardian Angel to Drink due out next and Built Different, Teaching Uphill, and Uncommon Ground to follow in 2027. Her recognition includes Top Self-Made Women, Top 100 People in Finance, and 100 Global Women of Excellence.

And she started with none of it. A farm girl from Pennsylvania who rebuilt her life from a standing start in Abu Dhabi, she chairs this committee for one reason: to prove that the distance between an idea and an enterprise is shorter than it looks. Whatever stage you are standing at, she has stood there.
