Book Discussion Webinar on "Good and Mad" by Rebecca Traister (We will be reviewing/discussing part 1 and 2 of this four part book) Women throughout the centuries have been “mad as hell and can’t take it anymore” for good reason. Their anger has been perceived and described as signs of instability and insanity (especially after the 2016 election). Anger, however, can be used in a positive way when dealt with constructively. Thanks to Rebecca Traister’s book "Good and Mad", the discussion about women’s anger can now be done openly and without shame.....our anger is a righteous anger! Please attend this book club discussion, led by Susan E. Oser (whether you've been able to read the book or not) Discuss and review the historical perspectives of anger and it's use in the ever changing feminist movement and of course, you can express what makes you “good and mad” and the ways that this anger can be used constructively in your own life. The event is free and open to all interested
