National Friday Conversations

NFBPWC members and guests are invited to join us in our weekly Friday Conversations as we endeavor to deepen our connections.

Time: 4:30PM Pacific, 5:30PM Mountain, 6:30PM Central, 7:30PM Eastern
Where: Virtually on Zoom

NFBPWC is thrilled to have Francesca Burack as a moderator for our  Friday Conversations. An international speaker and author, Francesca is committed to the empowerment of women. Each week she will bring us a new topic to discuss as a group and in small breakout rooms. We will network at the beginning and the end of each session. Have fun with this opportunity to get to know your fellow members better!

Topic for March 26th: Equal Pay Day (Equal Salary)

The USA celebrated/lamented Equal Pay Day for woman, as an average of all, on March 24, 2021. (Note specific days as follows: Asian American & Pacific Islander - Mar 9, Black - Aug 3, Native American - Sep 8, Latina - Oct 21.)

We are interested in learning your thoughts, ideas and what your clubs are doing for Equal Pay Day (EPD) and your strategies for moving forward to help women recover from COVID and get the pay they deserve.

Questions to consider:
1. How does your club communicate and publicize EPD?
2. Do you have an EPD event?
3. What would you like to see your club do about the inequality of women's pay moving forward?
4. Does anyone in your club sit on USA's Equal Pay Committee? If so, what have you heard from them?

Grab your favorite drink and connect via Zoom video (or phone) with your fellow members and guests. This is an opportunity to check-in with each other and create a space to connect virtually. We hope to "see" you there.
