BPW Colorado will hold its Annual Convention on June 7, 2025.  This will be the first in-person convention we have had in several years!  The main part of the convention will be held at a community campus in Denver from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the reception with the installation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at a location nearby (to be announced at the Convention).  Some details and the link for registration are available on our website.  (If anyone from NFBPWC is interested in attending, please contact Evie Hudak for information about the event to determine how or if you could participate.)

We will conduct our normal yearly business at the Convention, including passing the annual budget, amending the bylaws, and electing officers for the following year.  However, much of the event will be spent in strategic planning for how to adapt our organizational structure to the smaller membership of BPW Colorado – and how to adapt our direction to meet the needs and interests of today’s business and professional women.  We are pleased to announce that the strategy session will be facilitated by one of our long-time members, Theresa Szczurek, a Certified Management Consultant and the author of Pursuit of Passionate Purpose.

At the Convention, we will have a special opportunity for attendees to help women who are getting started in their careers.  Dress for Success Denver will be collected one handbag from each attendee (just one handbag per person, not clothing) that they are asking to contain a note of encouragement.  They would also appreciate it if donors would “tuck a twenty” (dollar bill) in the handbag too.
