NFBPWC's Gender-Based Violence Committee Presents:

Hidden in Plain Sight: Identifying and Responding

to Gender-Based Violence in our Communities

Monday 28 April 2026 3pm P / 4pm M / 5pm C / 6pm E

(Tuesday, 29 April 2026 at 6am Singapore time)

Speaker:
Elle Amani – survivor, advocate, and speaker who courageously fought her own mother in court after experiencing severe abuse.

In our very first educational session, Elle Amani will share powerful insights drawn from her own courageous journey. She will guide us in recognising the often-hidden signs of gender-based violence in our families, workplaces, and communities, and equip us with practical, compassionate tools to respond safely and support survivors effectively.

This session is open to all NFBPWC members and allies who want to move from awareness to meaningful action.

Gender-Based Violence Chair:  Sujata Tiwari gbv@nfbpwc.org
