My name is Nicole Callender-Sedon and both my personal and professional lives are deeply rooted in the defense of our nation.

As an Army combat veteran married to a fellow Army combat veteran, I understand firsthand the sacrifices and profound bonds forged on the battlefield. This commitment to the mission runs through my family: my brother proudly served as a Marine, my mother supports us all with the enduring strength of a Blue Star mother, and I continue to contribute directly to national security in my daily work as a Department of the Army civilian.

As the chair of the Military-Affiliated Women Committee, I seek to recognize the roles that women play in the military, whether they serve themselves or they support those who serve.

And during this term, I hope we can work together to identify support and resources for all military affiliated women.
