The first Women's Rights Convention - also known as the Seneca Falls Convention, was held on July 19th and 20th, 1848.

History tells us that a small tea party - held less than two weeks prior, led to the creation of that magnificent event.

The presidents of NFBPWC -NC and NFBPWC-Virtual, Marsha Riibner-Cady and Barbara Bozeman, respectively, welcome you to join us for an afternoon tea - virtually.

Come with your own beverage of choice (no one is going to see what fills your cup) and enjoy an afternoon of conversation and friendship to honor those who began this journey so many years ago.

Suggestions:

Dress the part, don a lovely frock or hat

Bring out your favorite tea cup, make your favorite light afternoon fare

Create a special backdrop for your Zoom presence to honor the day.
