Members of a State Federation or Affiliate Club shall be eligible for election.
To be eligible to run for office, a candidate must have served in an elected or appointed capacity in one or more of the following:
For one year prior to the election within NFBPWC or IFBPW, including international, national, state, or affiliate club level;
With a minimum of one year’s experience from a deliberative or professional organization outside NFBPWC or IFBPWC or with the approval of the Board of Directors.
Officers shall take office at the close of the General Assembly and Biennial Conference and shall serve until the close of the next General Assembly and Biennial Conference.

Article XVIII Nominations and Article XIX Elections
President
The President serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The President is the Chief Executive Officer and spokesperson of NFBPWC and provides leadership in managing the organization and representing its members nationally and internationally.
First Vice President Membership
The First Vice President Membership serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This officer performs the duties of the President in the President’s absence and provides leadership for national membership development.
Second Vice President Advocacy
The Second Vice President Advocacy serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This officer provides leadership for the national Advocacy Platform and related advocacy efforts.
Secretary
The Secretary serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This officer is responsible for maintaining the official records of the organization.
Treasurer
The Treasurer serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This officer is the Chief Financial Officer of the organization and is responsible for financial records and funds management.
Young BPW
The Young BPW serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC and a voting member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This officer provides leadership and representation for members of NFBPWC aged 18–35 years.
Nominations Chair
The Nominations Chair serves as an elected officer of NFBPWC. This officer does not serve on the Board of Directors and is responsible for overseeing the nominations process for national elections.
