The NFBPWC General Assembly is more than a conference, it is a community. We welcome participation from members seeking to broaden their knowledge of BPW, our history and shared commitment to advocating for women in the workplace through networking, mentoring, skill-building, policy focus, and economic empowerment programs & projects. Because we believe our organization will be more innovative and successful when we infuse DEI into all aspects of our organizational culture, we also plan to have an ever-expanding community of individuals from different backgrounds. General Assembly registrants have the opportunity to attend at a discounted rate and contribute to NFBPWC through volunteering opportunities. And, because much of the event will be live-streamed via Zoom, as an added benefit of attending, registrants will have access to event recordings through October 31, 2022. Cancellations If NFBPWC is prevented from hosting the BIENNIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY you registered for as a result of a Force Majeure occurrence before the first day of the event, then you may seek a full refund. In this situation, no cancellation fee will be applied. All other cancellations will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee and may be considered refundable if requested on or before July 10, 2022. Cancellations may be considered half refundable if requested after July 10, 2022. Any cancellations received after such dates will only be considered for a refund in extenuating circumstances. Refunds For consideration of a refund outside of the Cancellation scenario discussed above, submit your Refund Request to ec@nfbpwc.org stating in detail the reason for the refund request. Refunds for the registration fee paid will be issued only if a cancellation request is received by July 10, 2022, 11:59 pm United States Eastern Time. 50% refunds for the registration fee will be issued for cancellations requested after July 10, 2022. No cancellation requests will be accepted, and no refunds will be given beyond Thursday, August 4, 2022, 11:59 pm United States Eastern Time. NFBPWC has the right to evaluate any refund request and to process or deny the refund at its discretion. If a refund is issued, the original credit card account used will be credited the amount received by NFBPWC minus any processing and/or cancellation fee(s). Substitutions Your base registration for the event is transferable to another person affiliated with the NFBPWC organization umbrella. To facilitate the substitution process, please submit your substitution request via email to ec@nfbpwc.org, stating in detail the reason for the refund substitution and the person attending in your place. A Covid-19 vaccination is not required, but is requested. NFBPWC follows local, state, and federal health agency guidelines for any in-person meeting and will continue to monitor the ever-changing advances and restrictions regarding COVID-19. We may need to add additional safety measures to the ones below closer to the conference dates. Please check this page regularly for new information. Mask policy for the on-site event: Due to the increase of COVID illnesses, and other infectious diseases, NFBPWC will require attendees to wear masks indoors unless speaking or eating. Please make sure that they will cover your mouth and nose. We will have disposable masks available for use should you need one. The NFBPWC General Assembly invites those who are unable to attend the in-person conference to join us virtually via Zoom. You will have access to two full conference days with awards, ceremonies, seminars and choice of breakout sessions. Recorded Sessions We will record all livestreamed sessions. You will be able to access recordings from roughly two (2) weeks after the General Assembly through October 31, 2022, allowing you to watch content whenever it is most convenient for you. Consent to Public Posting of Photos and Video When you register for, and by entering a NFBPWC Zoom event online, you consent, individually and on behalf of your company, to be photographed or recorded by the meeting organizers and the NFBPWC organization. Participants consent to their images and video being reproduced for subsequent use in the media, webcasts, internal and external promotional purposes, and inclusion on websites and social media. Images are shared publicly with open access for use. Information Consent By completing the event registration form, you are agreeing to allow NFBPWC to store the personal information submitted.
